KF2 Monster Ball: Glowing Skull Walkthrough Step by Step
The glowing skulls on Monster Ball unlock the Spooky Scary Skeletons achievement. This guide is written as one continuous route, but you can also skim it and pick off the skulls as you play. For a numbered list from another author see Monster Ball 21 collectibles and collectibles by area.
Route

At the start, turn left and look by the giant light.

After entering the courtyard, face the fountain, turn right and shoot the skull by the furnace. You may need to crouch to see it.

Look to the left of the mountain, high up at the gargoyles on the building wall.

One hides behind the trader pod in the fountain area.

The next skull is behind metal fence doors in the next area.

Turn around and walk under the bridge. Look up at the balcony.

Walk toward the dinner tables. The skull is behind one of them, and you must jump up to see it from that spot.

Walk to the stairs next to you and look at the sewer grate.

Look all the way up: a skull sits high on the wall.

Walk down the L-shaped path opposite the dining tables.

Continue to the rubble at the very end. The next item is behind it. Remember this place: you will take the left path later.

Enter the building through the door on your right (when facing the rubble, after stepping back a few steps). Turn left when you reach the statue.

Take the next turn down the large corridor (straight ahead if you just entered the mansion). Look out the last window to shoot the skull.

Walk back and turn left again (right if you just entered).

Turn around to enter a room with a chimney decorated with a giant dinosaur head. The skull rests among wood logs next to it.

Run up the stairs and keep walking forward, staying left and not crossing the bridge yet. The next skull is on a table in front of a skull wall.

Now cross the bridge and find a skull hidden next to the couch on the other side.

Peek into the room behind the right door, the one with a chimney and an undead observer.

Go back to the area behind the rubble and take the left path this time. Look at the railing on your left for the next item.

Follow that path to a trap door opened by a lever. Open it and shoot the skull downstairs.

Keep going toward the dining area and look up.

Go up the small set of stairs to the left of where you came from and look in the corner behind the door.

Walk a little forward toward DJ Hans: the skull is his companion.

Walking toward DJ Hans, turn around and look up beyond the broken railing above you.

Go down the small flight of steps to a skull hidden in a corner.

Head right (left if facing Hans) and walk all the way to the hole in the ground.

Go downstairs using the nearby stairs and look behind one of the covered couches.

Continue toward the prison cells. When you enter that area, look behind the railing on your left.

Walk to the prison cell on the right and aim at its toilet.
