KF2 Halloween Horrors 2017: Nightmare, Vault, New Weapons
This is a translated Russian-language overview of the Halloween Horrors event for Killing Floor 2, which the author said would last until 21 November 2017. It follows the author's earlier guide to the Summer Sideshow event. Killing Floor 2 itself is a first-person shooter and survival horror game by Tripwire Interactive, released on 18 November 2016.
Nightmare map
Nightmare is a new map themed for Halloween. It is split into several small locations, and the transitions between them happen through portals that open in the break between waves. It resembles The Descent, which is also broken into small locations, except that there you move between them by jumping into a pit.

Vault and currency
The Vault and a currency were added. To earn the currency you complete daily and weekly tasks. After you gather a certain amount, you receive a crate, called "a crate for storing crates" in the Russian localization, that opens without a key and gives an item; the author got a costume for DJ Scully.
The author adds that crate drops were broken at the time, the developers promised a fix, and crates that should have dropped would not be compensated.

Invitations
As in the previous event there are invitation items, now Halloween themed. The scheme is the same: collect 5 and exchange them for an item. Rumor said they drop once every 4 hours, though the author says this is not accurate. There are also purple tickets that cost money, and one such ticket can be exchanged for an item immediately.
A purchasable ticket.
New weapons
Hemogoblin. A Field Medic weapon that fires syringes. Enemies hit by them lose weight and fitness (the author jokes they turn into anorexics) and may even die, but in practice it makes it easier for teammates to kill them, because large mutants need to be shot with the syringes a lot to get the full effect.
The Hemogoblin.
SeekerSix grenade launcher. The author calls it the best weapon for the Demolitionist: 6 rockets in the magazine, a semi-automatic mode and homing with no damage reduction.

New boss and enemy, sort of
King Fleshpound became an official boss. The author does not count this as real content since the boss was already in the summer event and could have been added then. Mini Fleshpounds (Quarter Pounds) are now enemies too.
