KF2: Get the Hazmat Suit From the Old Summer Sideshow Event

If you missed the old Killing Floor 2 event The Summer Sideshow and are without The Hazmat Suit outfit, this guide describes a workaround using the game's beta branch. The author warns that the trick may also work with other event rewards, depending on the event, and was written for the game version of that time, so it is not guaranteed to work today. Steps

1. In your Steam library right-click KF2 and choose Properties.
2. Open the Betas section and pick the preview- branch from the list.

3. Wait for the files to download and start the game.
4. Complete all tasks of the current event, then exit the game.
5. Open properties again, switch the beta off, start the game and exit it.
6. Enable the beta again and launch the game.

Two new items should now be in your inventory: the Sideshow Hazmat Suit and the Sideshow Hazmat Helmet.
