KF2 Gunslinger: Aim Better With Akimbo Pistols
A short tip for newer Gunslingers who struggle to hit anything with a pair of pistols. The author keeps it brief: adjust your mouse sensitivity to taste, then use "the magic", which is simply the fire mode switch.
The trick
- Equip any dual Gunslinger weapon. The author tested with the 9mm pistols, but it applies to all of them.
- Aim down sights as usual. By default you get the dual-pistol view, with one pistol on each side of the screen.

- Press the fire mode switch key (the middle mouse button by default) while aiming. The view changes to a centered, single-sight style of aiming.

Why it helps
According to the author, accuracy and aim offset stay almost completely the same between the two modes, but many players find the centered view far easier to place on a target. The author was never a fan of the old dual aiming and was sad when earlier versions (which had that style for the dual 9mm) were patched out, so this is a neat way to get a familiar feel back. It is not a troll guide, just a tip for people, especially fresh Gunslingers, who may not have noticed it yet.
