The Irregular Game of Life
Conway's Game of Life as a puzzle with 42 levels. Place a few starter cells on the grid, press start and watch them live, die and multiply: each level asks for something different, such as ending with exactly 24 cells or wiping the board clean. A free sandbox with colours, speed control and shareable level codes is included.
How to play
Mouse or touch: click or drag on the grid to place and remove starter cells, then press start. The slider sets the speed; level codes can be copied and loaded in the sandbox.
Click the game first so it gets the keyboard. P or Esc pauses; the speaker button in the corner mutes the sound.
