KF1 Sharpshooter Perk Levels 0-6 - Requirements and Bonuses
The Sharpshooter is the precision perk of the original Killing Floor. It uses long-range rifles or dual handguns and is built around headshots. This page lists the requirement and bonus for every level. For weapon choice and how to handle Scrakes and Fleshpounds, read the Sharpshooter guide.

How the Sharpshooter levels up
The Sharpshooter perk icon.
- Role: Long-range damage dealer.
- Weapon class: Pistols and rifles.
- Progress: headshot kills with Sharpshooter weapons, the 9mm Pistol included. Sharpshooter does not need to be your active perk.
- Unique trait: the only perk with a bonus that also applies to off-perk weapons.

Exceptions to the bonuses
- Recoil: does not apply to the MK23 or the 44 Magnum.
- Reload speed: does not apply to the M99 AMR.
- Fire rate: applies only to the Lever Action Rifle, Crossbow, Single Piston Longmusket and M99 AMR.
- Perk discount: does not apply to the 9mm Pistol, Lever Action Rifle or Crossbow.
- At level 6 the starting Crossbow replaces the level 5 Lever Action Rifle.

- How do you level the Sharpshooter in Killing Floor?
- By getting headshot kills with Sharpshooter weapons, the 9mm Pistol included. Level 6 needs 8,500 headshot kills, and Sharpshooter does not have to be your active perk.
- Does the Sharpshooter boost off-perk weapons?
- Yes. It is the only KF1 perk with a bonus for off-perk weapons: extra headshot damage, from +5% at level 0 to +50% at level 5 and 6.
- What does the Sharpshooter spawn with?
- A Lever Action Rifle at level 5 and a Crossbow at level 6.
