KF2 Collectibles: Where to Play and Tips for Finding Them
This is a short Spanish-language guide to getting the per-map collectible achievements in Killing Floor 2. It does not list item locations in text; the author points to a video series instead, so this page collects the general rules and tips.
Where and how to play
- Each map has roughly 15 collectible objects, some very well hidden, but you only need to destroy 10 to earn that map's collectible achievement.
- They exist in every difficulty and every game type (Survival, Endless or Objective), so do not worry if you picked a mode by accident. Difficulty does not move them: the objects are always in the same spots.
- In multiplayer, the achievement progress for the 10 objects counts for all players in the match, which makes it quicker if you search with friends.
Tips for finding them safely
- They are usually in corners or inside boxes and obstacles. If you see a car, for example, there may be one inside.
- Many are out of the normal player path, in blocked areas where ZEDs come from, so be careful not to get trapped.
- A good way to explore is to keep one or two slow ZEDs alive, such as a Scrake, a Bloat or even a Rioter, while you look around.
- Collectibles break in one hit, so a weak weapon like the starting 9mm or a crossbow is perfect for them.
The author uploads videos showing each collectible precisely, with 5 or 6 maps per video, and recommends watching while you play.
