KF2 Day of the ZED Seasonal Objectives Walkthrough

Day of the ZED was a seasonal event for Killing Floor 2 built around the Netherhold map. It had five objectives, and finishing all of them gave a cosmetic companion item. Horrific Manifestations: kill 15 bosses

Objective: kill 15 bosses on any map or mode.

The easiest way is Endless mode. Any difficulty works, but the higher the wave, the less damage bosses take. A trick is to reach wave 15, back out to the menu, and start a new Endless game so that you hit the bosses while the wave number is low.

Weekly Cult: finish the weekly on Netherhold

Objective: complete the weekly on Netherhold.

At the time of the guide the weekly was a twist where Gunslinger and Sharpshooter were the only perks you could use. It is a fun mode and fairly easy, since few ZEDs spawn. If you do not usually play these perks, buy the Dual .500 Magnums and the SPX 464 Centerfire. They deal heavy damage to large ZEDs and still clear a big group.

Objective: find the nether heart.

It is located near the chapel. Break through the wall, step inside, and the objective is done. A collectible is placed next to the heart.

Purple Miasma: open the chapel and dining hall doors

Objective: unlock the chapel and the dining hall doors. Most secret doors that can be opened glow purple.

Set the difficulty to Hard and use your main perk to reach wave 15.
