KF2 Solo Hell on Earth as Berserker: Speed Build with Nail Gun and Tesla
This Russian-language guide describes a way to clear the Hell on Earth achievements solo with a Berserker, but not by melee. It is written by a player who says other classes did not work for him. The build is for solo play only.
Skills
The guide's skill screen (in Russian) is shown below, and the author's priorities are:
Berserker skills in the Russian interface. Tier 5 movement speed is the core of the whole tactic.
- Movement speed: the most important skill, the whole tactic is built on it.
- Higher damage and attack speed.
- Resistance to all damage.
- Light attacks, because you use them more often.
- Health regeneration, which helps you escape when pinned.
Weapons
Play the start with the starting weapons. On wave 2 buy the Spreader. On wave 3 buy the Vlad-1000 Nail Gun. Near the end, sell the Spreader and buy the Tesla Gun, upgrade the Tesla fully and the Nail Gun to level 2 (weight limits prevent more).
Tactic
Why would a tank take firearms? The author doubts that Hell on Earth bosses can be beaten with melee: damage to them is tiny, while they deal so much that you can die in 2 to 3 hits up close, such as the Patriarch's minigun volley or the Matriarch's beam. So the speed skill and firearms are needed.
- Pick any map and set 4 waves. Reach the boss using any class you like, because getting there is much harder than the boss itself. The author never died to the boss, only to earlier waves.
- Wave 2: you need the Spreader to push through crowds, especially in narrow corridors. On a big map where you will not be pinned, you can buy the cheap Nail Gun straight away and fire single shots, though that takes some aim.
- After wave 2: use the Nail Gun on burst fire to take down big ZEDs, as the damage is high.
- The wave before the boss: sell the Spreader and buy the Tesla Gun.
- Boss: play as a shooter, not a tank. With speed, armor and firearms stay at range, bring the boss to zero, and heal when you take a stray hit. When you take heavy damage, run until you regenerate; your speed is above every boss and ZED except for a few moments with certain heavy ZEDs the author calls "blockers", who stay close and are easy to kill.
Tips
- On narrow maps do not get pinned. Pinning means death.
- Beware of the little minions bosses summon and always have a retreat path. EDARs are the most dangerous because they can stop you and the boss may grab you.
- On open maps even your speed may not break line of sight. Use a long object like a bus and circle around it, remembering your position changes can expose your back.
The author hopes the guide helps and says: if I could do it, so can you.

- No, the method is for solo play only.
