KF2: Kill Hans Volter on Hell on Earth With a Berserker Team
This is a very short community guide from the early days of Killing Floor 2 (Hans Volter was the first boss), listing a three-step recipe for beating him on Hell on Earth. It comes with six screenshots from a successful fight.
The three steps
- Pick the team: four Berserkers, one Medic and one other perk of your choice.
- Level requirement: every player must be level 20 or higher.
- Gang up on the boss: the melee players go in together and attack as a group.

Why it works
Hans Volter fights at range with machine guns and grenades and drains a player to heal at several stages, so the safest answer is to keep him pinned in melee by several tanks while a Medic keeps them up. A group of Berserkers also share his attention, so no single player is chased down. Levels matter because Berserker skills such as Fortitude, Smash and Parry unlock at levels 10 and 20, and Hell on Earth ZEDs punish low-level characters.
