Go to the second marked spot, weld one door immediately, weld the second as soon as the Patriarch runs in, then kill him as fast as possible without letting him heal, otherwise he heals and returns.

KF2 Hell on Earth on Catacombs: Demolitionist Stairs Tactic

This is a translation of a short Russian guide for Hell on Earth games on the Catacombs map. It is aimed at players who are only starting Hell on Earth and describes a tactic that many already know: a Demolitionist-heavy team on a staircase. Team composition

Gather at least 5 players, ideally 6. The suggested setups:

2 Demolitionists, 2 Supports, 1 Commando, 1 Medic, or
3 Demolitionists, 1 Support, 1 Commando, 1 Medic.

Most of the work falls on the Demolitionists, so bring two or, better, three. You can replace a Support or Commando with a Berserker. Ideally all Demolitionists are level 25 with the Destroyer of Worlds skill.

Position

Go to the spot shown in the screenshot and line the whole team up on the staircase. Demolitionists climb higher and shell everything that moves.

To avoid being surrounded, weld this door and do not go near it again. It is near your position.

After surviving 10 waves it is time for the boss.

If it is the Patriarch: go to the second marked spot.

Weld one door immediately. As soon as the Patriarch runs in, weld the second door and start taking him down. Kill him as quickly as possible and without letting him heal; if he heals he will come back to finish you.

If it is Hans: you can try the same tactic, or find a more spacious place to maneuver. The kill principle is the same.
