Goddess of Destruction: Glory Days
Dual class, clan requests and the Isle of Souls
Glory Days is a Goddess of Destruction update released after Tauti. It expanded the dual class system, reworked clan wars and the PK system, added clan requests from the dwarven guilds, moved sieges of conquerable clan halls into instances and rebuilt the Isle of Souls for characters of level 92-96.
The data reflects the Korean version of the Glory Days update for Goddess of Destruction; where no official English name is known, names are translated from the Russian client.
Dual class and subclasses
Dual class certificates
The dual class now gives benefits similar to subclasses. When the dual class reaches level 85, 90, 95 and 99, the main class receives one dual class certificate from Class Change Manager Drandum, who also teaches the certificate skills:

Re-Awakening the dual class
- The dual class can be Awakened again through Class Change Manager Rean for a set amount of adena and a Cloak of the Awakened.
- The dual class then becomes level 85, all Awakening skills are removed and replaced by the standard 3rd class skill set, and the character receives the class cloak of the new dual class profession.
Dual class level bonuses
A passive skill is learned automatically when the dual class reaches the required level:
| Skill level | Dual class level | Effect |

| 2 | 90 | Max HP +972 |
| 3 | 95 | Max HP +1458 |

Kamael can now take the Inspector subclass without developing two other subclasses first.
Clans and sieges
Castle sieges
- Camps and Advanced Camps get more HP, P. Def. and M. Def., but cost more to set up: Camp - 300 Gemstones (B-grade), Advanced Camp - 600 Gemstones (B-grade).
- Siege weapons destroy castle walls faster.
- HP, P. Def. and M. Def. of castle Guard Towers and Flame Guard Towers are greatly increased.
- Cloaks for members of the owning clan are added to the castle shop.
- Fixed: the east and west air doors of Aden Castle stayed open after the siege.
Clan wars
All clan wars are cancelled when the update is installed.
| Parameter | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Requirements to declare | Clan level 3, 15 members | Clan level 5, 15 members |
| Wars that can be declared | 5 clans (unlimited accepted) | 30 clans (unlimited accepted) |
| Start of a mutual war | 3 days after the declaration, or on acceptance | After 5 kills of the target clan's members within 1 week, or on acceptance |
| End of war | 3 weeks after start, or 1 week after start if one clan surrendered | If the declaration is not answered within 1 week or is rejected |
- The challenged clan can see war information in the clan info window: the number of PKs on its members and the time left to reject the challenge.
- Surrendering after the war has started costs the surrendering clan 5000 clan reputation points.
- A clear symbol is shown above members of the clan that issued the challenge.
- When clan reputation is transferred for a PK during a clan war, a system and on-screen message shows the clan, the character and the points.
Clan requests
Aden's King Amadeo Cadmus is raising money to pay mercenaries in the fight against darkness and asked the Dwarven Council of Elders for help. The Iron Gate Guild organised clan requests to help smaller clans.
- There are three types of requests from the dwarven guilds. The clan leader takes, changes and deletes requests at the Clan Request Manager in any town. You cannot do requests without a clan, and a clan that is in the middle of one request cannot take part in another. Changing a request resets all points accumulated by clan members.
- Clan members accumulate personal request points by hunting monsters, up to 100 points. Points follow the experience gained, including the level difference penalty: a penalty applies at a 3-10 level difference, and no points are gained if the character is 11 or more levels above the monster.
- Any monster in the world gives points, except raid bosses in the field and in instances. The chance differs for solo play, a party and a command channel.
- Personal points accumulate until the clan's request points reach the maximum (which depends on clan level). After the clan points are reset, they accumulate again.
- When the clan points reach the maximum, clan members are notified, and the request can be taken from the manager with the [Receive Request] button.
- Request items are issued to 7 or 14 characters, last 24 hours and can only be used by the participants; they cannot be used in instances or in no-summon zones. Only clan members can accept requests; Academy members cannot accept but can take part.
- Using a request item summons the Request Coordinator NPC. Its "Summon clan member" option calls a clan member, who gets a confirmation pop-up (not shown in instances or no-summon zones). A member who agrees is moved into the request instance and returned to where they were summoned from afterwards. The request begins when [Start Request] is selected.
- The request format depends on the guild; the reward depends on the request level.
- Clan Request Badges earned from requests are exchanged for items at Clan Request Managers or for clan levels at guild heads and Grand Masters.
- The [End War] button is replaced by [Request Info].
Conquerable clan halls
The capture method of three clan halls changed: Fortress of Resistance, Fortress of the Dead and Devastated Castle. The area around them became a normal field instead of a battlefield, and the battles now take place in instances (up to 14 people, the instance lasts at most 1 hour). Access is through an NPC that the clan leader summons with a special skill, or through the herald near the hall. The winning clan accepts or declines ownership through an NPC; if the owning clan wins again or the winner declines, the hall is held by NPCs for the next two weeks.
| Clan hall | Time | Victory condition |
|---|---|---|
| Fortress of Resistance | Friday, 21:00-22:00 | Be the fastest to kill the boss Bloody Lord Nurka |
| Fortress of the Dead | Thursday, 21:00-22:00 | Be the fastest to kill Gisele, Alfred and Lidia von Hellmann |
| Devastated Castle | Friday, 21:00-22:00 | Be the fastest to capture 3 bases and kill Gustav |
- In the Fortress of Resistance, on-screen messages report Nurka's HP thresholds and clans joining (without names).
- In the Fortress of the Dead, messages report damage dealt to Lidia von Hellmann; luck elements can give an advantage or set a clan back.
- In the Devastated Castle the 3 bases are captured with items dropped by minions. The mobile siege base reverts to uncaptured when it reaches the far end of the field by the walls, so it must be slowed down. The assault base reverts when its HP recovers to 100%, so it must be attacked constantly. The ruined throne base reverts 3 minutes after capture, and this cannot be prevented. Messages appear on the first capture of each base, Gustav's death and clans joining.
The instances drop belts imbued with the bosses' power (Nurka, Lidia von Hellmann, Gustav): damage +5%, damage taken -5%, weight limit +12,800, inventory slots +18.
Clan halls
- New teleport routes are added to all auction clan halls and conquerable clan halls.
- Clan cloaks that display the Clan Crest (256x256, TGA or BMP, 24/32 bit) are added to the shop; without a registered crest the cloak keeps its plain background.
- At production level 3, teleport scrolls can be bought once per hour: to the Blood Mist zone, the Isle of Souls Harbor, the Ruins of Ye Sagira (in front of Hadel), Guillotine Fortress, Parnassus and the Forbidden Gateway.
- Iss Enchanter buffs are added to all clan halls: Poems of the Horn, Drum, Organ, Guitar, Harp and Lute, and the Guardian's, Mystic's and Berserker's Harmonies.
- Dion clan halls are upgraded from C to B rank (auction, storage and settings changed).
- Auction and conquerable clan halls get higher HP/MP recovery bonuses, higher rent and higher function costs.
Mentoring
- Mentee's Appreciation works on the mentor in the main class, dual class and subclass, and persists when switching between them without logging out.
- Buffs from the mentor's presence and the Mentor's Rune stay on the mentee when the mentor switches from a dual class or subclass to the main class without logging out.
PK system
| Change | Details |
|---|---|
| Karma reduction | Before: depended on the PK count. After: karma drops faster at a PK count of 4 or more |
| Item destruction penalty | A chaotic character with 4+ PKs can lose items on death, including enchanted ones; the chance and number grow with the PK count, up to 5 items. From April 25 to May 9 the penalty applied from 31 PKs, after May 9 from 4 PKs. It does not apply at 0 or positive reputation |
| Working off karma | With negative karma you can earn experience and SP; karma rises when hunting NPCs and on death (if there is experience to lose), but not above 0 |
| Killing chaotic characters | Killing a chaotic character at karma 0 or higher raises karma; the maximum is 500, at which the name turns green |
| PK with positive karma | At 0 PKs the counter rises and karma drops to 0. At 1+ PKs the counter rises and karma decreases |
| Karma Penalty | Grows with the PK count and karma. At 3 PKs or fewer only a level 1 experience recovery penalty applies; at 4+ PKs the penalty depends on karma and also lowers P. Def. and M. Def. |
- A daily quest to reduce the PK count is added at the Black Judge NPCs (near Floran Village, the Hardin's Academy and the southern entrance to the Wasteland). Requirements: main class level 61+, PK count above 1, 200 Gemstones (B-grade). During the quest a Glutton is summoned that levels up and yields items exchanged for the reward (no more than 10, extras are deleted). The PK count drops by 1-3.
- On installation, karma above 500 is capped at 500 and karma below 0 is set to 0.
- Old quest items of the previous quest are removed; old Shackles no longer summon the Glutton and can be sold to a shop.
Ceremony of Chaos
- Skills that give other participants an advantage can no longer be used.
- All buffs are removed on entry, including vitamin items from the Game Store; Vitality maintenance/recovery effects and debuffs stay. HP/MP/CP are restored before the match.
- Instant HP/MP/CP potions are banned - recovery and buffs come from tonics in Tonic Chests and from killing Mysterious Guards.
- Agathions are recalled and cannot be summoned. Fireworks, Large Fireworks, Mysterious Potion, appearance potions, Dye Potion, Hairstyle Potion, Fisherman's Potion and Caravaner's Elixir are banned.
- Each player sees opponents under their own numbers (for example, A is "Player1" to C and "Player2" to B).
- The Hero aura and weapon glow, the Ceremony winner aura and Seed Talisman effects are hidden.
- Ceremony of Chaos buffs are available from level 76 (after the 3rd class change).
| Parameter | Before | After |

| Wait after accepting | 5 min. | 2 min. |
| Match length | 6 min. | 5 min. |
| Withdrawal penalty | from .04/.24/.44 until transfer | from .04/.19/.34/.49 until transfer |
Two new Ceremony items were added (self only, can be kept in the private warehouse, cannot be sold, traded or dropped): pulling the target to you, and invincibility for 5 sec., both with a 5 min. cooldown. They come from the Mysterious Butler's daily quests ("Dubious Offer 1" and "2"), cost 1 Mysterious Mark from the Butler and drop from Mysterious Guards in the PvE matches.
Mysterious Power now reduces MP/CP to 1 and HP to 1/3 of the remaining amount, and the instant kill chance rose from 20% to 50%.

Hunting zones
Isle of Souls
On the Isle of Souls the supercomputer "Mother Nornil" started a program to eliminate intruders, and the Kamael living weapons - the Spiculas - carry it out tirelessly. Dwarves fight the Spiculas and Doctor Chaos's golem army here.
| Zone | Level | Type | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nornil's Cave | 93-96 | Small parties | New monsters; entry via the Nornil Teleport Device. Detection Systems and Spicula Clones call reinforcements if attacked or if they spot players. The Main Teleport Device in the central room takes characters of level 93+ to Nornil's Garden |
| Nornil's Garden | 93+ | Raid instance | One party (7 people recommended), linear layout, the boss Spicula Zero in the last room. Resets daily at 6:30 |
| Isle of Souls fields | 92-96 | Solo and small parties | New monsters. Black Anvil Guild golems and dwarves fight Spiculas: kill the Spicula a golem is fighting and the golem becomes a temporary ally. Sometimes a Kamikaze Golem appears next to the character and uses Self-Destruct, turning the allied golem hostile. Spiculas sometimes stop and summon monsters; then allied soldiers and a Cannonball Golem arrive - a strong helper |
Zone updates
- Fairy Settlement, 88-94, solo and small parties: lower level of monsters from cocoons, higher level of monsters from large cocoons, stronger scouts. A Cocoon Destroyer may appear by a cocoon; killing it can spawn a Wisp that restores HP/MP and buffs P. Atk. and M. Atk. More experience for normal and extreme Kimerian.
- Labyrinth of Kartia (solo): killing the Kartia Overseer at stage 7 of the first room spawns a Life Plunderer; when its HP drops below 10%, the character gets Boiling Blood - on death they resurrect instantly with full HP and MP and no experience loss. HP of the Kartia Overseer and of the bosses Chellaka, Felline and Kallios is reduced. In the level 90 version the Overseer no longer appears at stage 7 of the 3rd room.
- Trajan: more experience and SP for the boss, fewer summoned Elite Underground Beetles, minions give no experience or SP, the instance closes when the boss dies, minimum players 7 -> 5, time limit 45 -> 60 min.
- Fixed: after an NPC server crash the respawn timer of Earth Wyrm Trasken became 1 week instead of 2.
- Teleport devices to the Seed of Hellfire, Seed of Immortality, Seed of Annihilation and Seed of Destruction cannot be used in a flying transformation.
- Monster Race Track races are disabled.
- Monsters that drop tonics now also drop a Tonic of Energy.
- The look of some town NPCs changed; fixed the missing boss Weeping Yui in Fortuna, equipment display on the Airship and on the 3rd floor of the Labyrinth of Kartia, and NPC voice lines replaying when using items that open dialogs.
