Chronicle 1: Harbingers of War

Lineage 2 Chronicle 1: Harbingers of War was the first major update to the game. It was released on June 29, 2004 and added new monsters, items, quests and castle sieges.

Main features

• Quests for high-level players. Some of the new quests are designed around competition between high-level characters.
• A quest in the Dragon's Lair of Antharas. Completing it earns the right to fight the Earth Dragon Antharas.
• Tougher monsters. Monster movement and attack speed were noticeably increased.
• PvP arenas. Special arenas were added where dying does not cost experience.
• A larger world. Dozens of new weapons, armor pieces and skills were added.
• Clan halls. One of the most important additions: clans can buy clan halls at auction by investing a considerable amount of adena.
