Test of the Duelist - Mark of Duelist Quest
The mark for Gladiator, Swordsinger, Bladedancer and Tyrant
Test of the Duelist is a level 39 quest that rewards the Mark of Duelist. This mark is required for the second profession of Gladiator, Swordsinger, Bladedancer and Tyrant (together with two other marks - see the Second Class Transfer Marks). Only the best fighters of the kingdom earn the title of Duelist: you must defeat the most powerful evil spirits in every territory.
The quest stages from the l2dc.ru database reflect the Kamael (1st Throne) chronicle.
Requirements
- Level: 39.
- 1st profession class: Warrior, Elven Knight, Palus Knight, Orc Monk.
- Quest start: Duelist Kaien in the Fighters' Guild in the south-western corner of Oren.
- About 100,000 adena for teleports.
- Map: Map: World.
- 20 SoE just in case, plus a supply of Soulshots.
Walkthrough
- Teleport to Oren. In the Fighters' Guild in the south-western corner of the town, find Duelist Kaien, talk to him and receive Order Gludio, Order Dion, Order Giran, Order Oren and Order Aden.
- Teleport to Giran, then to Dion, Gludio and Windawood Manor, and run to the Wasteland. Hunt Puncher until you collect 10 Puncher's Shard.
- Run to the Ant Nest. Hunt Noble Ant Leader until you collect 10 Noble Ant's Feeler.
- Use SoE and run to Cruma Tower. Hunt Marsh Stakato Drone until you collect 10 Drone's Chitin.
- Use SoE and run to the Execution Grounds. Hunt Dead Seeker until you collect 10 Dead Seeker Fang.
- Run to Giran. North-east of the town, hunt Breka Orc Overlord until you collect 10 Overlord Necklace.
- Use SoE and teleport to Hardin Academy. Hunt Fettered Soul until you collect 10 Fettered Soul's Chain.
- Teleport to Hunter Village. North-east of the village, hunt Tamlin Orc until you collect 10 Tamrin Orc's Ring.
- In the same area, hunt Tamlin Orc Archer until you collect 10 Tamrin Orc's Arrow.
- Use SoE and teleport to the Ivory Tower. In the crater, hunt Enchanted Monster Eye until you collect 10 Tempered Eye Meat.
- Use SoE and teleport to the Plains of the Lizardmen. Hunt Leto Lizardman Overlord until you collect 10 Chief's Amulet.
- Use SoE. Find Duelist Kaien in the Fighters' Guild, talk to him and receive the Final Order.
- Teleport to Giran, then Dion, run to Cruma Tower and teleport to the 1st floor of Cruma Tower. Hunt Krator until you collect 3 Krator's Shard.
- In the same place, hunt Excuro until you collect 3 Excuro's Skin.
- Use SoE, teleport to Giran and then Hardin Academy. To the north-west, hunt Grandis until you collect 3 Grandis Skin.
- Teleport to Hunter Village. South-east of the village, hunt Lakin until you collect 3 Lakin's Mace.
- Use SoE and teleport to Oren. West of the town, hunt Timak Orc Overlord until you collect 3 Timak Orc's Belt.
- Use SoE. Talk to Duelist Kaien in the Fighters' Guild and receive the Mark of Duelist. The quest is complete.
