Quests

Second Class Transfer Marks

Three quests for every second profession

To get the second profession, a character must collect three marks and bring them to the master of their guild. Each mark is awarded for a separate quest: a Trial (from level 35), a Testimony of your race (from level 37) and a Test of skill (from level 39). Below is which marks each profession needs, with links to the detailed walkthroughs.

Which marks you need

The average time to complete all three quests is the route author's estimate (some classes have no estimate).

How to use the routes

  • Find - check where the NPC or monster is and run there.
  • Talk - choose the Quest option in the dialogue and go through all the lines. If the route does not say which line to pick, the choice does not matter (or the description is incomplete).
  • Receive - the route names the item you are given; it does not list which items are taken from you.
  • Hunt until you collect N items - some monsters drop quest items rarely, but usually no more than 10 kills are needed per item (in some cases up to 30-50). If you have killed far more and still have nothing, you will have to restart the quest.
  • Travel - you do not have to use teleports; you can save adena by walking. To return, use a Scroll of Escape (SoE); find out in advance where it will take you (in C1 this needs the SoE Map patch, from C2 on you can use the /loc command), and check where to look for NPCs so that you do not end up searching for them in the wrong town.
  • The routes may contain inaccuracies and mistakes.
  • The profession itself is granted by the guild master: at the start of the conversation choose Information on Change Occupation instead of Quest, then the desired profession and Change Occupation.
