Test of the Lord - Mark of Lord Quest

Totems of the five tribes for Flame Lord Kakai

Test of the Lord is one of the three mark quests for the second profession. The Mark of Lord is needed only by Orc shamans heading for Overlord (Orc Shaman). The quest is available from level 39. The full list of marks by profession is in the overview Second Class Transfer Marks.

Overlords are born, not made: the candidate must collect the totems of the chiefs of five tribes (all except Hestui) and pass the trial of Ancestor Martankus. The stage titles in the table below come from the l2dc.ru database, which reflects the The Kamael (1st Throne) chronicle.

Requirements

Level: 39.
Class: Orc Shaman.
Starting NPC: Flame Lord Kakai, the main building of Orc Village.
About 100,000 adena for teleports.
Maps: Map: Elmore, Map: World.
20 Scrolls of Escape (just in case).
A supply of Soulshots.

Walkthrough

Teleport to Orc Village. In the main building find Flame Lord Kakai, talk to him and receive the Ordeal Necklace.
In the main building find Urutu Chief Hatos, talk to him and receive Hato's Charm.
In the main building find Neruga Chief Tantus, talk to him and receive Tantu's Charm.
In the main building find Atuba Chief Varkees, talk to him and receive Varkee's Charm.
In the weapon shop find Trader Jakal, talk to him, choose <Pay 1,000a> and receive the Neruga Axe Blade. Buy 1000 Bone Arrow here as well.
In the smithy find Blacksmith Sumari, talk to him and receive Sumari's Letter.
In the main building talk to Neruga Chief Tantus and receive the Axe of Ceremony.
Teleport to Gludin, Gludio, then Dion. Find Gandi Chief Chianta, talk to him and receive Chianta's Charm.
Find Seer Somak, talk to him and receive the Urutu Blade.
Teleport to Giran. At the north gate find Seer Manakia, talk to him and receive the Tantus Charm.
North-east of the town hunt Breka Orc Shaman and Breka Orc Overlord until you collect 20 Breka Orc Fang.
Use SoE and teleport to Oren. Find Dudamara Chief Takuna, talk to him and receive Takuna's Charm.
Teleport to Giran, then Dion and run to Cruma Tower. In the north-western part of the marsh hunt Marsh Spider until you collect 10 Marsh Spider Feeler and 10 Marsh Spider Feet.
Use SoE and teleport to Giran, Oren, then Ivory Tower. In the pit hunt Enchanted Monster Eye until you collect 20 Cornea of Enchanted Monster Eye.
Use SoE. West of Oren hunt any Timak Orc until you collect 10 Timak Orc Skull.
Use SoE. Talk to Dudamara Chief Takuna and receive the Handiwork Spider Brooch.
Teleport to Giran. At the north gate talk to Seer Manakia and receive Manakia's Amulet.
Teleport to Dion. Talk to Gandi Chief Chianta and receive the Monster Eye Woodcarving.
Teleport to Gludio, then Orc Village. In the main building talk to Urutu Chief Hatos and receive the Sword Into Skull.
In the main building talk to Atuba Chief Varkees and receive the Huge Orc Fang.
In the main building talk to Flame Lord Kakai and receive the Bear Fang Necklace.
Teleport to the Frozen Waterfall and run to the Cave of Trials. On the bridge drop into the water on the right, turn right at the fork and run to the very end. Find Ancestor Martankus, talk to him and receive Martanku's Charm.
Run to the entrance of the Cave of Trials. Nearby hunt Ragna Orc Seer and Ragna Orc Overlord until you get the Ragna Orc Head and the Ragna Chief Notice.
Return to Ancestor Martankus, talk to him and receive the Immortal Flame.
Use SoE. In the main building talk to Flame Lord Kakai and receive the Mark of Lord. The quest is complete.
