KF2 Rig Collectibles: Finding the Red Ring Beacons

This page follows a short Spanish-language Steam guide (translated) about the collectibles on the Killing Floor 2 map Rig (the "oil platform", "Plataforma Petrolifera" in the original). The author notes that, unlike on earlier maps, these collectibles are harder to notice and are placed in less obvious spots. A video route is the main content of the guide, using the map's helipad as the reference point. Related pages: Rig collectibles locations and Rig Marine Research achievement route.

What to look for

The collectibles are dark red or burgundy, with two rings that light up intermittently. Because of that dark color they blend into the environment, so look for the blinking rings.

The author recorded a walkthrough of the locations taking the map's helipad as the starting reference.

Playing the map in the beta

In the comments the author confirms that when the map was in testing you played it by switching the game to the beta branch: right-click the game in your Steam library, open Properties and go to the Betas tab.

A separate community guide covers the "Marine Research" achievement on the Summer 2022 event map Rig: 22 holographic projectors exist and 10 must be destroyed. It shows a single continuous route from each spawn point: the Helipad, the Lower Container Area and the Multi-level Bridge (lower level, 2F) are the three starting points covered. See the route page linked above for text details.
