KF2 Hot Key Layout: Quick Weld, Grenade, Bash, Quick Heal
This is a very short note listing one player's key layout for the actions that matter most in Killing Floor 2. Treat it as a suggested setup rather than the stock defaults, and change any of it in the controls menu.
| Action | Key |
|---|---|
| Use / quick weld | E |
| Throw grenade | G |
| Alt fire / block | Left Alt |
| Flashlight | V |
| Quick heal | Z |
| Melee bash | F |
| Last used weapon | Q |
Why these actions matter
- Quick weld shares the use key, so you can seal a door the moment you reach it.
- Quick heal lets you heal yourself without cycling to the syringe; tapping it and switching back to a weapon shortens the animation.
- Melee bash is a useful emergency button to stumble a ZED or stop a Siren scream for a moment.
- Last used weapon gives a fast swap between your two main weapons.
- Alt fire / block matters for melee perks that parry and for weapons with a secondary mode.
For binds not offered in the menu, see /en/gamedb/killingfloor2/config/setbind-keybinding-guide/ and /en/gamedb/killingfloor2/config/recommended-keybinding-layout/.
