KF2 Early Access Tips: Sprint Any Direction, Pulverizer Launch
A humorous, meme-styled early-access page with two real tricks. The original is written in an exaggerated style; the facts are below.
Sprint in any direction
You can sprint in any direction, not just forward. If a Fleshpound is closing in fast, sprint, turn around and keep moving backward: you backpedal at sprint speed and can see where it is. The Fleshpound is the one with the spinning spiked gauntlets, so do not wait to see if it only wants a hug.
The Fleshpound, the specimen worth backpedaling away from.
How much should you sprint?
The author's view: sprint when you need to move quickly forward, backward or in any other direction. Sprinting at the right time shows a good player; sprinting at the wrong time shows a bad one.
A Bloat, one of the zeds you may want to sprint away from.
Berserkers: launch yourself
If you are skilled enough you can launch yourself into the air with the Berserker's sledgehammer that has a shotgun built in (the Pulverizer). Jump on top of zeds and use the shotgun blast alt attack, and you are launched into the air. The author hoped Tripwire would not patch it.
Zeds to jump on before using the shotgun blast.
For a related movement trick with the shotgun see the Boomstick double-jump guide. The author called the game "still in super beta" and asked readers to share other tricks.
