KF2 Solo Hell on Earth Berserker: Spot and Route for Every Map

This English and German guide by a Berserker player shows how to beat every map solo on Hell on Earth with a level 25 Berserker. Each map has a recorded video; the notes below are the written summary of where to stand and where to run. It was played in version 1021 with 4-wave games. For a general solo Berserker approach also read Berserker solo Hell on Earth guide.

Rules for every map

  1. Run if it gets too hard.
  2. Close every door behind you, but do not weld them.
  3. Heal yourself as often as you can.
  4. Attack the boss only after it has attacked you.
  5. When Hans hits you in melee, hit back immediately or he will not stop.
  6. Stay away from Husks: Berserkers hate fire.

The author's favorite weapon is the Pulverizer, and it helps if you can afford it after wave 2; otherwise use the sword for a round. In the version used, wave 4 spawns only one Fleshpound and one Scrake. Since version 1028 there is a Scrake and Fleshpound spawn in wave 3 and a Scrake plus two Fleshpounds in wave 4.

Burning Paris

Hold the place at the stairs as long as possible. If it gets too hard, run to the Eiffel Tower, up the stairs to the right and into the park, and hold the spot again. For the boss run the route in the opposite direction.

Biotics Lab

Hold the big hall. If it gets hard there is enough space to keep moving. Fight the boss in the hall as well and only leave it when searching for ammo.

Outpost

Run around the big square in the middle of the map. The passages are narrow, so kill Husks and Sirens first. Fight the boss around the small building near the square, and avoid the narrow route used earlier because the Patriarch can fire rockets down narrow paths.

Volter Manor

Camp in the room with the billiard table near the stairs. When it gets tight, jump down toward the spawn, run upstairs, take the right door on the right side and return to the camp. Use the same tactic for the boss.

Evacuation Point

Hold the spot upstairs by the escalators in the left building near the spawn. If it gets too hard, run around the block outside, go in again at the next entrance on the right and head back up. The same tactic works for the boss.

Catacombs

Use the path from the spawn around the large building into the middle, for both the waves and the boss.

Black Forest

Hold the place in the water next to the water wheel. For the boss run around the big rock near the spot and leave the loop only for ammo.

Farmhouse

Hold the barn. If it gets hard, run outside, through the back of the house and return to the barn. For the boss run through and around the barn, or use the house to retreat and heal.

Prison

Circle around the whole map. With many narrow corridors and little space, it takes a lot of luck, and the author considers it one of the hardest solo maps in KF2. The boss tactic is the same but you get hit often due to no cover, so be glad if the boss is Hans Volter. (The author notes the video for this map has sound problems.)
