KF2 Dosh Economy: How Much Dosh Each ZED Kill Pays

A humorous Russian guide, written for new players who do not understand how the in-game economy works. It explains what dosh is and how to earn it, and gives a table of payouts by ZED and difficulty. For general money advice see dosh economy and money management.

What is dosh

The local currency is shown by a crossed D symbol. It does not fall from the sky; it is credited to your in-game Horzine card (whose advertisement you can see in the metro station on the Burning Paris map). You buy gear against the mutants with it, and in the foreground one of Foster's lines mentions the coffee running out and needing to earn some money. In short, it is electronic money.

How to earn dosh

The most obvious way is to kill. A kill and an assist pay the same.

Killing ZEDs earns dosh

Kills and assists pay equally.

Payout per kill or assist, by difficulty (Normal, Hard, Suicidal, Hell on Earth):

Dosh also arrives for helping teammates when they take ammo and grenades from you (Support and Demolitionist), and for healing: 6 dosh per 10 health healed with the syringe, and the same for healing darts. All of these actions also give XP to the perk involved (for example Medic for healing).

Note that the multiplier falls on higher difficulties, so a single kill pays less on Hell on Earth than on Normal.
