Alliances: Creation, Dissolution and Alliance Wars
War pacts between clans and their wars
An alliance, or war pact, unites several clans with a single goal: domination over Aden. An alliance has its own crest and a separate chat where members of all its clans can talk - a huge advantage for coordinating during sieges and wars. The data reflects the clan system before Chronicle 5 (clan levels 0-5).
Creating and dissolving an alliance
- Only clans of level 5 - the highest - can create alliances, but a clan of any level can join one.
- An alliance cannot own a castle or a clan hall.
- An alliance can have at most 12 clans, i.e. up to 480 players. No castle can withstand such combined might - but your enemies can unite too.
- An alliance is created and dissolved the same way as a clan. It can be dissolved without the consent of its member clans. After that, a new alliance can only be created after 10 days.
- To invite a clan, send an invitation to its leader, who must accept it.
- A clan can leave an alliance at any time. There is no experience penalty for leaving, and the clan can join another alliance after 24 hours.
Alliance wars
Alliance wars are even larger battles than clan wars, and even more spectacular than sieges. The rules are almost the same, with a few restrictions of their own.
Declaring war
- Only alliance leaders can declare war on other alliances.
- All clans in the alliance automatically join the war, whether they want to or not.
- An alliance war does not affect clan wars - you can take part in a clan war at the same time.
- An alliance can accept challenges from several alliances.
- The enemy alliance leader must be online and accept the challenge.
- The challenge is sent with the chat command
/allywarstart [alliance name].
War rules
- Members of warring alliances can fight anywhere except towns.
- PK rules do not apply between warring sides, and there is no need to turn on PvP mode.
- Town guards do not interfere in alliance fights.
- If a player is killed by a member of the enemy alliance, they lose 25% of the experience normally lost.
- If a player is killed by a pet or summon, they lose 100% of the experience normally lost.
- During an alliance war, an ordinary player cannot surrender.
Ending a war
A clan that does not want to keep fighting has to leave the alliance. The alliance war itself ends in only two cases:
- the leaders of both alliances agree to a truce;
- the leader of one alliance surrenders - the leader loses 100% of the experience normally lost.
