Clan Level Quests: Proof of Alliance and Proof of Aspiration
Clan leader quests for levels 4 and 5
Raising a clan to levels 4 and 5 requires Proof of Alliance and Proof of Aspiration, which are rewarded by two clan quests. Many clan members take part, but most of the actions fall on the leader. Clan level requirements are described in Clan Levels and Development.
Proof of Clan Alliance (clan level 4)
Before starting, bring at least three fighters or mages - they will be the Chosen - and one healer. Newbies are useless here: the Chosen need speed, strength and plenty of experience.

You have only 1 minute; after that the boxes vanish and you must try again, paying another 10,000 adena. |
| 11 | With 4 Athrea's Coin, the same Chosen talks to Witch Athrea again and receives Blood of Eva. The Chosen teleport to Ivory Tower. |
| 12 | The Chosen hand all 4 ingredients to the clan leader. Their mission is over. |
| 13 | Talk to Witch Kalis - you receive the Voucher of Faith. Use SoE and teleport to Giran. |
| 14 | In the fighters' guild talk to Sir Kristof Rodemai and receive the Proof of Alliance. The leader must have at least 1,400,000 SP for this. Quest complete. |
Key points
- At step 4 the witch poisons the leader, dooming them to a slow death. Do not try to cure the poison: the witch will declare you a cheat and the quest will fail.
- The quest rules do not forbid Healing Potions and healing spells - that is what the healer is for.
- To cure the poison, the Chosen must obtain the antidote ingredients. The whole clan may help, but the Chosen must land the final blow on the monster personally.
- Time is now your main enemy: if the leader dies before the antidote is ready, the quest fails. Decide in advance who goes for which ingredient, and act quickly and simultaneously.
- Be sure to remember who got any of the ingredients first - the success of the quest depends on it.
In Pursuit of Clan Ambition (clan level 5)

Walkthrough notes

To know where a SoE will take you, in C1 you needed the SoE Map patch; from C2 you can use the /loc command. Proof of Clan Alliance
- Witch Kalis stands slightly southeast of the Ivory Tower (around 95K, 25K; squares 53-54 / 43-44, upper right corner), above the road, by a large graveyard with a huge statue.
- When swearing the oath at the statue, each Chosen One has a 50% chance to die; in return he receives a mark of loyalty to hand over to the leader.
- The witch's poison deals 50 damage per tick to the leader, and the leader cannot move. The healers must keep him alive at any cost.
- Where to find the monsters: Vanor Silenos Shaman (level 49) - between the Border Outpost and the Tower of Insolence, near the Blazing Swamp; Harit Lizardman Shaman (level 54) - between the Forest of Mirrors and Anghel Waterfall; Oel Mahum Witch Doctor (level 55) - far to the north of the Ivory Tower.
- The ingredient drop chance is about 5%, so kill fast and a lot. The Chosen One who gets an ingredient first must tell the leader right away.
- Witch Athrea stands in a stone circle north of the Dragon Valley (around 102K, 103K). The nearest teleport is Hardin Private Academy from Oren or Giran.
- Players report that the right chests (the ones that shout "BINGO" when they die) have about 6 times more HP than the others.
- It is handy to give the ingredients to the fastest player, who runs them to the leader at Witch Kalis. Drink the antidote immediately.
- The leader's reward is 120,000 SP and the Proof of Alliance.
In Pursuit of Clan Ambition
- Monster levels: Thunder Wyrm - 54, Drake - 57, Lesser Giant Soldier - 62, Lesser Giant Scout - 63, Grave Guard - 54, Imperial Gravekeeper - 60.
- In the l2db version, Martien asks for 10 Thunder Wyrm Eggs, 10 Drake Eggs, 10 Blitz Wyrm Eggs and 10 Mist Drake Eggs; Drake Eggs drop from Drakes.
- The Imperial Gravekeeper is very strong and must be killed by the whole clan.
- The leader's reward is 250,000 SP and the Proof of Aspiration.
