Elf First Class Change: Elven Knight, Elven Scout, Elven Wizard, Elven Oracle

Level 20 quests for Elven Fighter and Elven Mystic

Elves get their first profession at level 20: an Elven Fighter chooses between Elven Knight and Elven Scout, an Elven Mystic between Elven Wizard and Elven Oracle. The quest can be taken from level 19. Three of the four quests start in Gludio, the wizard quest starts in Elf Village. Fighters change class with Grand Master Rains in the Gludio fighters' guild, mystics with High Priest Raymond in the Gludio church. The quest descriptions from the database reflect Chronicle 4: Scions of Destiny.

Before you start

  • What to bring: adena for teleports, Map: World, 10 SoE just in case, a supply of Soulshots (fighters) or Blessed Spiritshots (mystics).
  • "Talk to" means: choose QUEST in the dialogue and click through all the lines. If the dialogue offers a choice that the route does not mention, the choice does not matter (or the description is incomplete).
  • To get the profession, choose INFORMATION ON CHANGE OCCUPATION instead of QUEST when talking to the NPC, then the desired profession in the second menu and CHANGE OCCUPATION in the third.
  • The routes list what you receive, not which items are taken away.
  • Quest items can drop rarely, but usually no more than 10 monsters per item (in some cases up to 30-50). If it takes much longer, you will have to restart the quest.
  • Teleports are optional - you can save money by walking.

Elven Knight

Quest Path to an Elven Knight (Elven Fighter). Started by Master Sorius in the Gludio fighters' guild. A blacksmith turns the gems you collect into an Elven Knight's brooch.

  1. Teleport to Gludio. In the fighters' guild talk to Master Sorius.
  2. Run to the Ruins of Agony and hunt Tracker Skeleton and Tracker Skeleton Leader (according to the quest text, Skeleton Scout, Skeleton Bowman and Raging Spartoi also drop the topaz) until you collect 20 Topaz Jewel.
  3. Use an SoE. In the fighters' guild talk to Master Sorius and receive Sorius's Letter.
  4. Teleport to Gludin. In the smithy talk to Blacksmith Kluto.
  5. Teleport to the Abandoned Camp. Off the road, south-east of the camp, hunt Ol'Mahum Novice until you collect 20 Emerald.
  6. Use an SoE. In the Gludin smithy talk to Blacksmith Kluto and receive Kluto's Box.
  7. Teleport to Gludio. In the fighters' guild talk to Master Sorius and receive Knight's Brooch.
  8. In the fighters' guild talk to Grand Master Rains and become an Elven Knight.

Reward: Knight's Brooch - the token for changing class to Elven Knight.

Elven Scout

Quest Path to an Elven Scout (Elven Fighter). Started by Master Reisa in the Gludio fighters' guild. You must help Guard Moretti find his missing friend, who was kidnapped by the ol mahums.

  1. Teleport to Gludio. In the fighters' guild talk to Master Reisa and receive Reoria's Letter2.
  2. At the eastern gate talk to Guard Moretti.
  3. Run to the Abandoned Camp and hunt Ol'Mahum Patrol until you collect Pippen's Tear Letter 1, Pippen's Tear Letter 2, Pippen's Tear Letter 3 and Pippen's Tear Letter 4 - pieces of a torn letter.
  4. Use an SoE. At the eastern gate talk to Guard Moretti and receive Moretti's Herb and Moretti's Letter.
  5. Leave through the eastern gate, cross the bridge and run to the Neutral Zone. North of the fork in the road find Pippen (called Prias in the quest text) and talk to him. He is bound in shackles.
  6. Kill 2 Ol'Mahum Sentry and receive Rusted Key.
  7. Talk to Pippen, free him and receive Pippen's Letter.
  8. Use an SoE. At the eastern gate talk to Guard Moretti and receive Honorary Guard Certificate.
  9. In the fighters' guild talk to Master Reisa and receive Reisa's Recommendation.
  10. In the fighters' guild talk to Grand Master Rains and become an Elven Scout.

Reward: Reisa's Recommendation - the token for changing class to Elven Scout.

Elven Wizard

Quest Path to an Elven Wizard (Elven Mystic). Started by Rosella in Elf Village. You must collect the jewels of the four elements: Rosella immediately hands you Fertility Peridot, the symbol of earth, and you have to find the others (water, fire and wind).

  1. Teleport to Elf Village. Talk to Rosella and receive Fertility Peridot.
  2. In the main building talk to Magister Greenis.
  3. Run south-west of the village and hunt Pincer Spider until you get 5 Clump of Red Down.
  4. Use an SoE. In the main building talk to Magister Greenis and receive Magical Powers Ruby.
  5. Talk to Rosella and receive Appetizing Apple.
  6. Run to Iris Lake. In the observatory on the eastern shore of the lake find Thalia and talk to her.
  7. Hunt Dryad Elder until you get 5 Golden Leave.
  8. In the observatory talk to Thalia and receive Pure Aquamarine.
  9. Use an SoE. Talk to Rosella and receive Book of Immortal Love.
  10. Run to the Elven Fortress. Find Norwind and talk to him.
  11. Inside the Elven Fortress hunt Sukar Wererat Leader until you get 2 Regular Amethyst.
  12. Talk to Norwind and receive Nobility Amethyst.
  13. Use an SoE. Talk to Rosella and receive Eternity Diamond.
  14. Teleport to Gludio. In the church talk to High Priest Raymond and become an Elven Wizard.

Reward: Eternity Diamond - the token for changing class to Elven Wizard.

Elven Oracle

Quest Path to an Elven Oracle (Elven Mystic). Started by Priest Manuel in the Gludio church. He tells you about a prophecy and asks you to find out the truth about a "miracle girl" who has appeared near the lighthouse in Gludin Harbor.

  1. Teleport to Gludio. In the church talk to Priest Manuel and receive Crystal Medallion.
  2. Teleport to Gludin and run to the lighthouse near Gludin Harbor. Find Allana and talk to her.
  3. Kill the Lizardman, Lizardman Scout and Lizardman Warrior that attack Allana and receive Lizardman Captain's Orders.
  4. Talk to Allana and receive Allana's Diary Part1. She asks you to get her money back from an old man named Perrin.
  5. North of the lighthouse find Perrin and talk to him.
  6. Kill his guard Bugbear Tamlin and receive Tamlin's Necklace.
  7. Talk to Perrin and receive Swindler's Money.
  8. Talk to Allana and receive Allana's Diary Part2.
  9. Use an SoE and teleport to Gludio. In the church talk to Priest Manuel and receive Leaf of Oracle.
  10. In the church talk to High Priest Raymond and become an Elven Oracle.

According to the quest text in the database, after the money is returned Priest Manuel urgently summons you through the crystal, and you then have to protect Allana at the lighthouse once more from hired lizardmen. Her younger sister cannot be saved, and you must report this to Priest Manuel.
