Second Profession: Elven Elder

Elven Oracle - Elven Elder: all three marks in one pass

Elven Elder is the second profession for the Elven Oracle, available from level 40. To change class you need to collect three marks and then talk to the high priest. Below is a combined route that runs all three quests in parallel in one optimized pass. The next step is the third profession, Eva's Saint.

Minimum requirements

  • Level 40.
  • About 300,000 adena for teleports.
  • The Wind Strike and Disrupt Undead spells (preferably also Sleep and Root).
  • Map: Elmore and Map: World.
  • 20 Scrolls of Escape (just in case).
  • A stock of Soulshots and Blessed Spiritshots.

Route

  1. Teleport to Giran.
  2. In the church, find Priest Bandellos, talk to him and receive Report of Perrin.
  3. Teleport to Dion.
  4. In the fighters' guild, find Master Cardien, talk to her and receive Cardien's Letter.
  5. Teleport to Gludio, then to Gludin.
  6. North of the docks, find Perrin and talk to him. Tatoma appears - kill him and talk to Perrin again.
  7. South of the docks, by the lighthouse, find Allana and talk to her.
  8. Teleport to Elf Village.
  9. In the main building, find Hierarch Asterios, talk to him (choose any line) and receive Moonflower Charm and Tetrarch's Letter.
  10. Run south to Iris Lake.
  11. On the eastern shore of the lake, in the observatory, find Thalia, talk to her and receive Grail Diagram.
  12. Use SoE, teleport to Gludio, then to Dion and to Giran.
  13. In the smithy, find Blacksmith Pushkin, talk to him and receive Pushkin's List.
  14. Use SoE and run to Death Pass.
  15. Hunt Wyrm until you get 20 Wyrm Talon.
  16. Hunt Guardian Basilisk until you get 10 Pure Mithril Ore.
  17. Teleport to Dion, then to Gludio.
  18. West of the town, find Father Gupu and talk to her. The quest branches here - you can pay or refuse:
    • Refuse pay 100.000a: talk to Father Gupu once more and use SoE.
    • Pay 100.000a: receive Picture of Windy, use SoE and run to the Ant Nest. Find Windy Shaoring, talk to him and receive Windy's Pebbles. Use SoE, find Father Gupu west of the town, talk to her and receive Golden Statue.
  19. Run to the Ant Nest.
  20. Hunt Ant Soldier until you collect 20 Ant Soldier Acid.
  21. Use SoE.
  22. In the fighters' guild, find Master Sorius, talk to him and receive Order of Sorius.
  23. Teleport to Dion, then to Giran.
  24. In the smithy, find Blacksmith Pushkin, talk to him and receive Pure Mithril Cup.
  25. Teleport to Dion, then to Gludio and to Elf Village. Run south to Iris Lake.
  26. On the eastern shore of the lake, in the observatory, find Thalia, talk to her and receive Thalia's Letter 1.
  27. Use SoE, teleport to Gludin and run to the Orc Barracks.
  28. North of the road to the ranch, find Hermit Santiago, talk to him and receive Voucher of Trial.
  29. At the end of the road, find Daurin Hammercrush and talk to him.
  30. Two Lizardman Agent and a Lizardman Lord appear. Kill the Lizardman Lord first and receive Secret Letter1. If nothing drops after killing all three, you will have to restart the quest.
  31. At the end of the road, find Daurin Hammercrush again and talk to him.
  32. Use SoE and teleport to Darkelf Village. Another branch:
    • Refuse pay 100.000a: teleport to the Altar of Rites, find Slein Shining Blade and talk to him.
    • Pay 100.000a: run to Swampland, find Piper Longbow, talk to him and run to the Altar of Rites.
  33. At the altar, find Arkenia, talk to her and receive Arkenia's Contract and Arkenia's Instructions.
  34. Near the altar, find Mysterious Dark Elf and talk to him.
  35. Three Lizardman Assassin appear - kill them and receive Secret Letter2.
  36. Run to Swampland.
  37. Find Mysterious Dark Elf and talk to him.
  38. Three Lizardman Sniper appear - kill them and receive Secret Letter3.
  39. Run to the Altar of Rites.
  40. Find Mysterious Dark Elf and talk to him.
  41. Two Lizardman Wizard and a Lizardman Warlord appear - kill them and receive Secret Letter4.
  42. To the southwest, find Saint Kristina, talk to her and receive Cristina's Letter.
  43. Use SoE and teleport to Gludin.
  44. In the church, find Priest Adonius, talk to him and receive Adonius List.
  45. Teleport to Gludio.
  46. In the fighters' guild, find Master Sorius and talk to him.
  47. Run to Cruma Tower.
  48. Hunt Marsh Spider until you collect 20 Spider Ichors.
  49. Use SoE and teleport to Giran.
  50. Northeast of the town, hunt Harpy until you collect 20 Harpy's Down.
  51. Use SoE, teleport to Dion, then to Gludio and to Orc Village.
  52. In the main building, find Seer Tanapi and talk to him.
  53. Run to the Cave of Trials. On the bridge, jump into the water on the right, turn right at the fork and run to the very end.
  54. Find Ancestor Martankus and talk to him.
  55. Use SoE, teleport to Gludin and run to the Forgotten Temple. From the entrance, go right and down, then run through 4-5 halls and turn left.
  56. Hunt Lava Salamander until you get Essence of Flame.
  57. Use SoE, teleport to Orc Village and run to the Cave of Trials.
  58. Find Ancestor Martankus, talk to him and receive Spirit of Flame.
  59. Use SoE, teleport to Gludin, then to Dwarf Village.
  60. Find Gauri Twinklerock and talk to him.
  61. Find Priest of Earth Gerald, talk and choose <Refuse to pay 100.000a>.
  62. Find Wanderer Dorff, talk to him and receive Grey Badge.
  63. Teleport to Gludin.
  64. In the church, find Priest Adonius, talk to him and receive Andariel's Scipture Copy.
  65. Teleport to Darkelf Village, then to the Altar of Rites.
  66. Find Arkenia, talk to her and receive Stardust.
  67. Use SoE and run south to Iris Lake.
  68. On the eastern shore of the lake, in the observatory, find Thalia, talk to her and receive Thalia's Letter 2.
  69. Use SoE, teleport to Gludio, then to Dion and to Giran.
  70. In the church, find Priest Prim and talk to him.
  71. Teleport to Hunter Village.
  72. In the square, find Isael Silvershadow, talk to her and receive Isael's Instructions.
  73. Teleport to Oren.
  74. Northwest of the town, hunt Leto Lizardman Shaman and Leto Lizardman Overlord until you collect Talin's Spear Blade, Talin's Spear Shaft, Talin's Spear Aquamarine, Talin's Spear Peridot, Talin's Spear Amethyst and Talin's Spear Ruby.
  75. Use SoE and teleport to Hunter Village.
  76. In the square, find Isael Silvershadow, talk to her and receive Talin's Spear and Isael's Letter.
  77. Teleport to Giran, then to Dion, Gludio, Gludin and Talking Island.
  78. In the church, find Priest Petron, talk to him and receive Paint of Nahir.
  79. Run to the Elven Ruins.
  80. Find Nahir and kill him with Wind Strike, Vampiric Touch and Ice Bolt until you get Hair of Nahir.
  81. Use SoE.
  82. In the church, find Priest Petron, talk to him and receive Statue of Einhasad.
  83. Teleport to Gludin, then to Elf Village.
  84. Find Andellia and talk to her.
  85. Run to the waterfall near Swampland.
  86. Hunt Black Willow until you get Debris of Willow.
  87. Nearby, find Uruha, talk to her and receive Book of Darkness.
  88. Use SoE.
  89. Talk to Andellia and choose .
  90. Run south to Iris Lake.
  91. On the eastern shore of the lake, in the observatory, find Thalia, talk to her and receive Grail of Purity.
  92. South of the observatory, find Unicorn of Eva, kill it with Talin's Spear and receive Tears of the Unicorn.
  93. Return to Thalia, talk to her and receive Water of Life.
  94. Use SoE.
  95. In the main building, find Hierarch Asterios, talk to him and receive Camomile Charm.
  96. Teleport to Gludin, then to South Entrance to Wasteland.
  97. Find Wiseman Casian, talk to him and receive Book of Sage.
  98. Use SoE and run to the Orc Barracks.
  99. At the ranch, find Hermit Santiago, talk to him and receive Mark of Pilgrim.
  100. Use SoE, teleport to Gludio, then to Dion.
  101. In the fighters' guild, find Master Cardien, talk to her and receive Mark of Life.
  102. Teleport to Giran.
  103. In the church, find Priest Bandellos, talk to him and receive Mark of Healer.
  104. In the church, find High Priest Maximillian, talk to him and become an Elven Elder. Quest complete.

Walkthrough tips

  • Find - first check where the NPC stands or where the monsters live, then run there.
  • Talk - choose QUEST in the dialogue and go through all the lines. If there is a choice and the description does not say which line to pick, it does not matter (or the description is incomplete).
  • Class change - when talking to the NPC, choose INFORMATION ON CHANGE OCCUPATION instead of QUEST, then the desired profession, then CHANGE OCCUPATION.
  • Receive - the item you get is listed; the items taken from you are not.
  • Hunt until you collect - the drop chance for quest items is sometimes low, but usually no more than 10 monsters per item are needed (in some cases up to 30-50). If it takes far more, you will most likely have to restart the quest.
  • Travel - teleports are optional; you can save money by walking. SoE is the Scroll of Escape. To know where SoE will take you, C1 needs the SoE Map patch, while in C2 you can use the /loc command. In any case, check where to look for NPCs so you don't end up searching for them in the wrong town.
