Noblesse Quest (Path of a Noblesse)
Path of a Noblesse, Precious Soul - all four parts
To complete all the quests, you first need to get a subclass and level it up to 75+, so that killing mobs is easier and you meet the requirements of the final quest, if you want to do everything in one go.
Before starting the quest we need to buy the following ingredients from trader Lara:
- Lunargent - 5 pcs.
- Hellfire Oil - 1 pc.
Path of a Noblesse, Precious Soul - 1
- Travel to Aden, to NPC Talien, and take the quest. It turns out he needs information about the seventeen heroes who took part in the battle against Antharas.

- Talien sends us to Gabrielle, since he thinks she might have a lot to tell. Great, off to Giran.

- As it turns out, Gabrielle doesn't know all that much, but the info is definitely held by Antharas's guardian - Gilmore, who was one of the seventeen heroes. He guards the entrance to Dragon Valley from the Death Pass side.

- Gilmore has become undead and isn't quite all there anymore, so he doesn't remember anything, but he knows that the "Legend of the Seventeen" was eaten and carried off into a cave by the wicked witch Baraham.

- Excellent! We head to Bee Hive, find the cave, and kill the evil witch. Killing her rewards us with the legend we were looking for.

- We hand the paper to Talien and suddenly it turns out that's not enough for him, and now he wants a record (an echo crystal) with a recording of an ancient rock band. It can only be obtained from the shady CD/DVD seller Kantabilon, who lives in Heine.

- The seller turns out to be a hustler and says he does have that record, but he'll only hand it over in exchange for 10 claws from Malruc Succubus or Malruc Succubus Turen, which dwell in Dragon Valley. The claws drop rarely, so get ready for your PvP/PK counter to climb by about 10 points, stock up on Cursed Bone/Energy Stone/Mana Potion/et cetera and head out to DV.

- Once, through blood and sweat (mostly thanks to endless PvP), you've farmed the claws, head to Kantabilon, and then to Aden, to deliver the antique DVD.
- You thought you'd finished all of Talien's tasks? Not so fast! It turns out he needs a book of poems, which only Stedmiel, who lives in Hunter's Village, has :( Oh well... Off we go to see him...

- Thank goodness, Stedmiel turned out to be such a sweetheart that he gave us the book just like that, without any drawn-out process of pressing a hot iron to his long ears, and so on :) We carry the book to Talien.
- The work for Talien is done, but to continue the "Path of a Noblesse" we need to go see Talien's "old man", a dwarf who lives in Rune Castle Town.
- We travel to Rune, teleport from the Gatekeeper to Rune Castle Town Temple, and look there for a group of NPCs admiring the views of nature from a large balcony. One of them is that "old man", and his name is Virgil.

- The dwarf's daughter has fallen ill, and with some unknown disease at that. The only one who knows how to cure her is Ogmar, who's standing right nearby, and whom Virgil is too lazy to walk over to himself. What a good grandpa, caring about his granddaughter. (Somewhere around here in the course of the negotiations you need to talk to the dwarf's granddaughter too, so just talk to all three of them in turn, so as not to break the quest flow.)
- Ogmar really does know a way out: the cure for this disease (which, as it turns out, isn't all that scary and unknown) can be brewed by the orc shaman Rahorakti, who lives in the basement (go to the Gatekeeper, teleport to Rune Castle Town Guild, then follow the arrow).

- To brew the potion, the shaman needs maroon moss, which can be scraped off Spilner Stakato Drones. We travel to Swamp of Screams and kill the required number of them.

- Rahorakti - what a kind soul - brews us the potion, which we carefully carry to the little dwarf girl. We cure the granddaughter and talk to the grandfather.
- Virgil tells us that only the Lake Lady can make us a noblesse (that lady who gave Lancelot the sword? though no, that's from a different fairy tale). A certain Caradine, who lives in Goddart, can tell us about this "lady".

- We teleport to Caradine, and she sends us to the boss of the local gang of smiths - Head Blacksmith Noel. He tells us that he needs the Lunargent & Hellfire Oil we bought in advance. We hand them over to him and go back to Caradine.

- The lady tells us this quest is done, and the next one will be given by Virgil, who has had something happen and we supposedly need to rush over to him urgently. Here you can have a smoke, drink some coffee, and head to Goddart at your leisure.
Path of a Noblesse, Precious Soul - 2
- We arrive at Virgil's, and it turns out his granddaughter has started being tormented by nightmares. We talk to the granddaughter, and to Ogmar (as always, grandpa's tongue has withered so he can't sort it out himself and just let us quietly get our noblesse).
- Ogmar tells us that in order to save the girl, we need to quickly dash over to the entrance to Devil's Pass (teleport to Swamp of Screams).
- We discover the corpses of angels and an unknown dark knight. We talk to him, we talk to the corpses (they vanish after your act of necrophilia). We find a scalp and speak with the knight. He sends us, together with the lock of hair, to a witch near Ivory Tower.

- We arrive at Ivory, find the witch Kalis, and she sends us to her apprentice for some ingredient.

- We run off to the apprentice, who turns out to be a dwarf alchemist named Matild; we talk to her and take the ingredient.

- Kalis sends us to Valley of Saints (teleport to Rune, then to Swamp); there lies a dead unicorn among some rocks. We open the corpse and the rocks, and it turns out we need to knock the missing parts out of quest mobs right there in that little cave. We knock out 4 items, insert them into the rocks, and talk to the unicorn.

- It turns out we've saved the Lake Lady, and Virgil's granddaughter along with her. We go and talk to Cassandra. Quest complete.
Path of a Noblesse, Precious Soul - 3
- We travel to Ossian, who dwells near Caradine. He tells us that a great task has fallen upon us, to restore the lost power of the Lake Lady.

- To begin with, we need to knock out 2 quest items (Ring of Goddess, Necklace of Goddess) in Valley of Saints. The mob names are Pilgrim of ***, Judge of *** (the asterisks can be anything, for example Pilgrim of Shine, Judge of Light). We successfully knock them out and head to Goddart, to Ossian.

- We're told that we need to get the last artifact - Staff of Goddess. It drops from the raid boss Barakiel, in the same Valley of Saints.

In the screenshot Barakiel is already dead, but this is what the room he lives in looks like. To kill him, we need a party, with a rough composition of: 5 mages 75+, a tank, a BD, and a bishop. This is the easiest way to kill him. 4. We carry the staff to Ossian, and he gives us the task of taking all the goods to the already familiar Magister Ladd in Ivory Tower.

- We talk to Ladd. This part of the quest is over.
Path of a Noblesse, Precious Soul - 4
- We travel to Goddart again and talk to Caradine. She teleports us to the Lake Lady.
- It turns out we were helping the goddess Eva herself (I don't understand how, by NCSoft's design, dark elves are supposed to do this quest, since they hate Eva and worship only their precious Shilen, but whatever). We talk to the goddess, and......

- CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU ARE A NOBLESSE!!!
Now a bit about what noblesse gives us.

Additional notes
- Requirements per the l2dc database: part 1 from level 50, part 2 from 60, part 3 from 65, part 4 from 75. All parts can only be done while in a sub-class state, and each part requires the previous one.
- Part 1: Antharas Watchman Gilmore has become undead and guards Dragon Valley; Elven Witch Baraham was one of the seventeen heroes who fought Antharas and became an evil creature of her own free will. Melody Maestro Kantabilon's echo crystal holds a forgotten song of the ancient bards about King Raul and his five knights; repairing it takes at least 10 Malruk Succubus Claws (Malruk Succubus and Malruk Succubus Turen).
- Part 1: Stedmiel's poetry book tells of the warriors who fought Beleth. Kassandra's medicine needs 5 Crimson Moss from Splinter Stakato Drones in the Swamp of Screams. Magic Trader Wesley at the Ivory Tower explains how to get the 5 Lunargent and 1 Hellfire Oil for Head Blacksmith Noel.
- Part 2 starts with Virgil. The Mysterious Dark Knight east of the Swamp of Screams points you to the angel corpses; the unicorn in the Valley of Saints is the Fallen Unicorn, trapped by cornerstones.
- Part 3: the Ring of Goddess: Waterbinder drops from Pilgrims of Splendor and the Necklace of Goddess: Evergreen from Judges of Splendor; the raid boss is Barakiel, the Flame of Splendor, who drops Rain Song, Staff of the Goddess. All three relics go to Magister Ladd at the Ivory Tower.
- From the l2dc database description of nobility (as of Kamael 1st Throne): a player becomes a Noblesse after reaching level 75 on a sub-class and completing the Noblesse quest. The title and Noblesse skills apply to the main class and all sub-classes of the character.
- Nobles can use exclusive teleports in towns, including to locations unavailable to ordinary teleport users, dungeons among them.
- A Noblesse can give themselves a title even without a clan, using the Title and Delete Title buttons in the Clan window.
- The quest NPC awards nobles accessories that set them apart from ordinary players. They cannot be traded, sold to a shop or dropped - only destroyed in the inventory.
- After gaining the title, the character's offensive capabilities in PvP are expanded.
- A Noblesse clan leader whose clan is registered for a castle siege receives battle reports: the status of online clan members and their kill and death counts. Use /siegestatus to see whether clan members are inside the siege zone; the data updates every 30 seconds, survives server restarts and resets when the siege ends.
- A Noblesse's participation in raids and sieges is recorded; when the character becomes a Hero, these records are archived at the Monument of Heroes in any town.
- Blessing of Noblesse can be cast on yourself or other players. On death, Blessing of Noblesse and Lucky Charm themselves are lost, while the other buffs are restored after resurrection.
- Build Advanced Headquarters is learned separately from the regular Build Headquarters. Wyvern Aegis temporarily boosts a castle lord's magic defense while flying a wyvern. Fortune of Noblesse gives Lucky Charm to all party members regardless of level.
- Harmony of Noblesse and Symphony of Noblesse combine the energy of 4 and 8 wizards (Sorcerer, Spellsinger, Spellhowler) respectively: the energy must be received one after another at 5-second intervals in any order, and the skill used within 5 seconds of the last participant's energy. The attack has no element; Harmony is twice and Symphony four times as powerful as Elemental Assault.
