KF2: Spawn the King Fleshpound and Quarter Pound by Console

This guide was written in June 2017, when the King Fleshpound had just been discovered in the game files before Tripwire had announced anything about it. It shows how to spawn him early, and what he can do. The King became the boss of the Poundemonium weekly; see the Poundemonium strategy, the King Fleshpound boss guide (RU) and the general console command list.

How to spawn him

Load any map and spawn in. Look at the spot where you want the King Fleshpound and enter these two commands in the console:

enablecheats
spawnai kingf

To spawn a Quarter Pound, a survivor-sized Fleshpound, type:

spawnai minif

With this you can fight the boss before the official mode that features him is available.

What can this boss do?

Anything a Fleshpound can do, and more:

• A devastating spin attack (which existed before but was left unused by later Fleshpound bots).
• A Hans-like shield when badly wounded.
• A laser beam attack. If you see him charging it, duck if he is on the same ground level as you; ducking behind cover or walls also works.
• Explosions when he rages and punches the ground, which can kill a reckless high-level Berserker easily.

While fighting him, a survivor-sized Fleshpound will also appear and hunt you, running slowly toward you both unraged and raged. These Quarter Pounds are no joke, but focus your firepower on the King, because Quarter Pounds respawn quickly after dying.
