KF2 Elysium: Seasonal Missions and Collectibles (ES Guide)

Elysium was the Killing Floor 2 Christmas event map. This Spanish-language guide, written during the second beta, explains how to enable the map, how to unlock its two hidden arenas for the seasonal missions, where collectibles are in all seven arenas, and how to get the Steam achievements. Enable the map

The map becomes available to everyone once Beta 2 ends. To get it early: in your Steam library right-click the game, open Properties, go to the Betas tab and choose the preview branch.

Seasonal missions

The most common question is why two missions do not count on the map: you must first meet certain requirements to reach their arenas.

A Christmas Carol (unlocks the Historian's Sanctuary)

Mission: A Christmas Carol. First collect the 4 books in the arenas with the ponds, on both sides.

Collecting them completes the mission "Four different stories".

Four different stories completed. Then bring the books to the trader arena and place them on one side of the map where it asks for them.

Under the Mistletoe (unlocks the Botanical Garden)

Mission: Under the Mistletoe. This time you gather 3 flowers in the cabin arena.

This completes the mission "Frozen roses".

The Steam achievement only needs 10, and the author may have missed some. They are listed by arena.

This arena is symmetrical, so directions are hard to give; the giant corpse in the middle also rotates slowly.

A small arena. Directions are given relative to the statue in the middle.

• The first two: complete the map on Infernal. If it is hard, try a Berserker with the Hemoclobber or Pulverizer on a short game (4 waves), or agree on a run with friends.
• The third: beat wave 15 (three bosses in a row) on Elysium in Endless, Hard difficulty or higher.

The author's note: stats for the two new weapons in the patch were left out until the final changes after Beta 2.
