Unofficial KF2 Patch (UKFP): Server Options and Commands Reference

The Unofficial Killing Floor 2 Patch (UKFP) is a server-side mutator that adds options, fixes and client commands. This page is the reference sheet from its Workshop guide: startup options, codes, commands, modes and lists. Options are added to the map URL, as in the server setup guide. Options marked "Lite" also work in UKFP Lite.

Compatibility

Survival, Endless, Weekly, Objective, Versus, Controlled Difficulty and Zedternal.

Chatbox formatting

Chat messages accept the HTML tags font, b, i and u, for example a red font color tag or bold text. Material icons (MIcons) work too: install the Material Design Icons SR Edit font, find the glyph's code point, convert it (strip leading zeros and add 0x), look the code up in the FontCodePoints list to find the icon name, then type for example say <font color='#FF0000' face='MIcon'>account</font> in the console.

Startup options

Players and pickups:

• ?MaxPlayers=<n> max players (Lite)
• ?PickupLifespan=<n> pickup lifespan, 0 for unlimited (Lite)
• ?StickyProjectileLifespan=<n> for things like Eviscerator blades
• ?DoshPickupLifespan=<n> dosh pickup lifespan
• ?FakePlayers=0-255 faked player count (Lite)
• ?DropAllWepsOnDeath=0/1 (Lite)
• ?BroadcastPickups=0/1 announce weapon pickups (Lite)

Loadable extras: ?LoadFHUD, ?LoadFHUDExt, ?LoadYAS (Yet Another Scoreboard), ?LoadAAL (Admin Auto Login), ?LoadCVC (Controlled Vote Collector), ?LoadLTI (Looted Trader Inventory), each 0 or 1.

Zed and wave control:

• ?NoEventSkins=0/1 force normal Zeds
• ?NoEDARs, ?NoQPs (replaced by Scrakes), ?NoGasCrawlers (replaced by Stalkers), ?NoRageSpawns (Lite); ?NoGorefiends, ?NoRioters

• !fav add the server to favorites (not on hidden servers)
• !dp toggle whether others may pick up your weapons (Lite)
• !dlk toggle the large Zed kill notice (Lite)
• !cs lets admins change player slots in-game

Console commands

SetZEDTimeEnabled, SetPingsEnabled, SetPingAlpha, SetPingSize, PingLocation, SetDropProtection, SetDoshThrowAmount (default 50), TossMoney and its bindable alias ThrowMoney, the HUD alpha and scale commands (SetWaveInfoAlpha, SetPlayerStatusAlpha, SetPlayerBackpackAlpha, SetBossHealthBarAlpha, SetOtherHUDAlpha, SetHUDScale 0.1 to 2.0), ToggleCameraMode, SetWeaponHand (0/1/2), SetBobStyle (0 to 7), SetLargeKillTicker, SetNoHRG and SetDisableDamagePopups.

Vanilla Mode

• No changing hand position or weapon bob.
• Max bodies limited between 4 and 12 and corpse gravity fixed at 1.0.
• Forces normal Zeds, disables the system that stops screen shake when Zed Time starts.
• No third person, no dropping all weapons on death, no pings.

UKFP Lite

Clients do not need to download the file, and only some features are supported. Fixes include: weapons that fall out of bounds teleport to the player or trader; many hacker entry points closed; lobby tickrate; the Steam Workshop downloader added automatically; faster PRI replication; crawlers no longer launch Zeds by walking under them; Zeds no longer target the wrong players on spawn; two broken meshes on Hellmark Station; most Descent maps in Endless; a crash from throwing huge amounts of dosh; custom modes showing as ALL in the browser; missing KFMutatorSummary; and an optional dynamic MOTD.
