KF2 DOOM Music Pack: Replace the Soundtrack With DOOM Tracks

While writing another guide, the author decided to prepare replacement audio files for Killing Floor 2: music from DOOM 2016, Doom Eternal and some remixes. The files replace the game's tracks, so they work like any other custom music swap.

Notes from the author

  • After a later edit, the music on maps belonging to game events stopped playing DOOM music. If you see this, verify the integrity of the game files in Steam, then download the fixed files from the updated link.
  • To hear all the music, turn off the vocal music option in the game settings.
  • If the game stops launching after copying the files, reinstall the game; the author did not see this themselves.
  • The author said they would update the pack for DOOM: The Dark Ages, but later said they had no time for new music.

Community notes

  • One reader found the file for the BFG Division remix, called 131033496.wem, and replaced it with another instance of Rip and Tear.
  • The pack includes both the game-rip and OST versions of Rip and Tear.
  • Some readers wished it contained only Mick Gordon's work, and others asked for a guide on custom soundtracks with volume control; see custom music with Wwise.
