Second Profession: Elemental Summoner

Elemental Summoner is the second profession for the Elven Wizard, available from level 40. To change class you need to collect three marks and then talk to the guild master. Below is a combined route that runs all three quests in parallel in one optimized pass. The next step is the third profession, Elemental Master.

Minimum requirements

• Level 40.
• About 300,000 adena for teleports.
• Map: World and Map: Elmore.
• 30 Scrolls of Escape (just in case).
• A stock of Blessed Spiritshots.
• A stock of D-grade Crystals.

2. In the fighters' guild, find Master Cardien, talk to her and receive Cardien's Letter.
3. In the church, find Magister Mirien, talk to her and receive Mirien's Sigil1.
4. In the church, find High Priest Sylvain, talk to him and receive High Priest's Sigil1.
5. In the magic shop, find Maria, talk to her and receive Maria's Letter1.
6. By the south gate, find Captain Lucas, talk to him and receive Lucas's Letter.
7. In the magic shop, find Maria, talk to her and receive Marya's Letter2.
8. Run to Floran.
9. By the north gate, find Astrologer Creta, talk, choose and receive Creta's Letter1.
10. Run to Dion.
11. In the magic shop, find Maria, talk to her and receive Lucilla's Handbag.

20. In the magic shop, find Maria, talk to her and receive Crystal of Purity1.
21. In the church, find High Priest Sylvain, talk to him and receive Symbol of Sylvain.

23. Teleport to Gludio, then to Elf Village.
24. In the main building, find Hierarch Asterios, talk to him (choose any line) and receive Moonflower Charm and Tetrarch's Letter.
25. Run south to Iris Lake.
26. On the eastern shore of the lake, in the observatory, find Thalia, talk to her and receive Grail Diagram.
27. Use SoE, teleport to Gludio, then to Dion and to Giran.
28. In the smithy, find Blacksmith Pushkin, talk to him and receive Pushkin's List.
29. In the mages' guild, find Grand Magister Jurek, talk to him and receive Grand Magister's Sigil and Jurek's List.
30. North of the town, hunt Breka Orc Shaman until you get 5 Shaman's Necklace.
31. Use SoE and run to Death Pass.
32. Hunt Wyrm until you get 20 Wyrm Talon.
33. Hunt Guardian Basilisk until you get 10 Pure Mithril Ore.
34. Run to the entrance of Dragon Valley.
35. Hunt Shackle until you get 2 Shackle's Scalp.
36. Use SoE.
37. South of the town, hunt Monster Eye Destroyer until you get 5 Monster Eye Destroyer Skin.
38. Use SoE.
39. In the mages' guild, find Grand Magister Jurek, talk to him and receive Symbol of Jurek.

41. In the church, find Magister Mirien, talk to her and receive Mirien's Sigil3.
42. Teleport to Gludio and run to the Ant Nest.
43. Hunt Ant Soldier until you collect 20 Ant Soldier Acid.
44. Use SoE, teleport to Dion, then to Giran.
45. In the smithy, find Blacksmith Pushkin, talk to him and receive Pure Mithril Cup.
46. Teleport to Hunter Village.
47. Find Wiseman Cronos, talk to him (choose any lines) and receive Cronos Sigil and Cronos Letter.
48. Teleport to Giran.
49. In the mages' guild, find Magister Dieter, talk to him and receive Dieter's Key.
50. Teleport to Dion and run to Floran.
51. By the north gate, find Astrologer Creta, talk and receive Creta's Letter2.
52. Run to the Wasteland, use SoE and teleport to Elf Village. Run south to Iris Lake.
53. On the eastern shore of the lake, in the observatory, find Thalia, talk to her and receive Thalia's Letter 1.
54. Use SoE, teleport to Gludio, then to Darkelf Village and to the Altar of Rites.
55. Find Arkenia, talk to her and receive Arkenia's Contract and Arkenia's Instructions.
56. Use SoE and teleport to Gludin.
57. In the church, find Priest Adonius, talk to him and receive Adonius List.
58. In the magic shop, find High Summoner Galatea, talk to her and receive Galatea's Letter.
59. Teleport to Gludio and run to Cruma Tower.
60. Hunt Marsh Spider until you collect 20 Spider Ichors.
61. Use SoE and teleport to Giran.
62. In the mages' guild, find Magister Dieter, talk to him and receive Creta's Letter2.
63. Northeast of the town, hunt Harpy until you collect 20 Harpy's Down.
64. Use SoE and teleport to Hunter Village.
65. In the weapon shop, find Trader Edroc, talk to him and receive Raut's Letter Envelope.
66. Teleport to Giran, then to Dion.
67. In the magic shop, find Trader Lara, talk to her and receive a random list: Lara's List1, Lara's List2, Lara's List3, Lara's List4 or Lara's List5. What to do next depends on the list:
    • Lara's List1: teleport to Giran, then to Oren. Northwest of the town, hunt Leto Lizardman Warrior, Leto Lizardman Shaman and Leto Lizardman Overlord until you collect 30 Leto Lizardman Amulet. Run to the Sea of Spores and hunt Giant Fungus until you collect 30 Sac of Redspores. Use SoE, teleport to Giran, then to Dion.
    • Lara's List2: teleport to Giran, then to Hunter Village. East of the town, hunt Karul Bugbear until you collect 30 Karul Bugbear Totem. Use SoE and teleport to Ivory Tower. In the pit, hunt Manashen Gargoyle until you collect 30 Shards of Manashen. Use SoE, teleport to Giran, then to Dion.
    • Lara's List3: teleport to Giran. North of the town, hunt Breka Orc Shaman and Breka Orc Overlord until you collect 30 Breka Orc Totem. Use SoE and run to Death Pass. Hunt Fettered Soul until you collect 30 Crimson Bloodstone. Use SoE and teleport to Dion.
    • Lara's List4: teleport to Giran, then to Hardin Academy. To the northwest, hunt Windsus until you collect 30 Tusk of Windsus. Use SoE, teleport to Dion and run to the Wasteland. Hunt Tyrant and Tyrant Kingpin until you collect 30 Talons of Tyrant. Use SoE and teleport to Dion.
    • Lara's List5: teleport to Giran and run to Death Pass. Hunt Wyrm until you collect 30 Fangs of Wyrm. Use SoE, teleport to Dion and run to the Ant Nest. Hunt Ant Noble and Ant Noble Leader until you collect 30 Wings of Droneant. Use SoE and teleport to Dion.
68. In the magic shop, find Trader Lara, talk to her and receive 2 Beginner's Arcana.
69. You need at least 6 Beginner's Arcana (repeat Lara's lists). Note: if you fail to defeat one of the summoners, you will have to get more Beginner's Arcana.
70. Teleport to Gludio, then to Gludin.
71. In the church, find Priest Adonius, talk to him and receive Andariel's Scipture Copy.
72. In the warehouse, find Warehouse Keeper Raut, talk to him and receive Scripture Chapter 1 and Strong Liquor.
73. At the docks, find Drunkard Triff, talk to him and receive Treaf's Ring.
74. Teleport to Talking Island.
75. On the western coast, find Summoner Almors, talk to him and receive Crystal of Starting. Paco the Cat appears.
76. Summon your creature that will fight, receive Crystal of Inprogress and start the duel. The route's author could not say exactly how the fight should go, so you will have to find out by experience. Possible outcomes:
    • an unfair win - you get Crystal of Foul and can fight again;
    • a defeat - you get Crystal of Defeat and will have to get more Beginner's Arcana;
    • a win - you get Crystal of Victory.
77. Talk to Summoner Almors and receive Almors's Arcana.
78. Use SoE, teleport to Gludin, then to South Entrance to Wasteland.
79. Find Summoner Basillia and talk to her. Defeat the summoned Mimi the Cat, talk to Summoner Basillia again and receive Basillia's Arcana.
80. Use SoE, teleport to Darkelf Village, then to the Altar of Rites.
81. Find Arkenia, talk to her and receive Stardust.
82. Use SoE and run south to Iris Lake.
83. On the eastern shore of the lake, in the observatory, find Thalia, talk to her and receive Thalia's Letter 2.
84. Use SoE and run to the Elven Fortress.
85. To the south, find Summoner Celestiel and talk to her. Defeat the summoned Unicorn Phantasm, talk to Summoner Celestiel again and receive Celestiel's Arcana.
86. Use SoE, teleport to Gludio and run to Cruma Tower.
87. Find Summoner Belthus and talk to him. Defeat the summoned Shadow Turen, talk to Summoner Belthus again and receive Belthus's Arcana.
88. Use SoE and run to Floran.
89. To the east, find Summoner Camoniell and talk to him. Defeat the summoned Unicorn Racer, talk to Summoner Camoniell again and receive Camoniell Arcana.
90. Run to Giran Harbor and teleport to Giran.
91. Northeast of the town, find Summoner Brynthea and talk to her. Defeat the summoned Silhouette Tilpo, talk to Summoner Brynthea again and receive Brynthea's Arcana.
92. Use SoE.
93. In the warehouse, find Warehouse Keeper Valkon, talk to him and receive Valkon's Request.
94. Teleport to Dion.
95. In the magic shop, find Maria, talk to her and receive Crystal of Purity2.
96. Teleport to Giran, then to Hardin Academy.
97. To the northeast, hunt Grandis until you get Scripture Chapter 3.
98. Use SoE.
99. In the warehouse, find Warehouse Keeper Valkon, talk to him and receive Scripture Chapter 2.
100. Teleport to Dion.
101. In the smithy, find Blacksmith Poitan, talk to him and receive Poitan's Notes.
102. Run to the Wasteland.
103. Find Wiseman Casian, talk to him and receive Kasian's List.
104. Use SoE, teleport to Dion and run to the Execution Grounds.
105. Hunt Ghoul until you collect 10 Ghoul's Skin.
106. Run to Giran.
107. Northeast of the town, hunt Medusa until you collect 12 Medusa's Blood.
108. Use SoE and teleport to Hardin Academy.
109. To the northwest, hunt Fettered Soul until you collect 5 Fettered Soul's Ichor.
110. Use SoE and teleport to Hunter Village.
111. In the square, find Isael Silvershadow, talk to her and receive Isael's Instructions.
112. Teleport to Ivory Tower and run into the pit below the tower.
113. Hunt Enchanted Gargoyle until you collect 5 Enchanted Gargoyle Nail.
114. Use SoE.
115. Northwest of the town, hunt Leto Lizardman Shaman and Leto Lizardman Overlord until you collect Talin's Spear Blade, Talin's Spear Shaft, Talin's Spear Aquamarine, Talin's Spear Peridot, Talin's Spear Amethyst and Talin's Spear Ruby.
116. Use SoE and teleport to Hunter Village.
117. In the square, find Isael Silvershadow, talk to her and receive Talin's Spear and Isael's Letter.
118. Teleport to Giran, then to Dion, and run to the Wasteland.
119. Find Wiseman Casian, talk to him and receive Scripture Chapter 4.
120. Use SoE, teleport to Elf Village and run south to Iris Lake.
121. On the eastern shore of the lake, in the observatory, find Thalia, talk to her and receive Grail of Purity.
122. South of the observatory, find Unicorn of Eva, kill it with Talin's Spear and receive Tears of the Unicorn.
123. Return to Thalia, talk to her and receive Water of Life.
124. Use SoE.
125. In the main building, find Hierarch Asterios, talk to him and receive Camomile Charm.
126. Teleport to Gludin.
127. In the magic shop, find High Summoner Galatea, talk to her and receive Mark of Summoner.
128. Teleport to Gludio, then to Dion and to Giran.
129. In the mages' guild, find Magister Dieter and talk to him.
130. Teleport to Hunter Village.
131. Find Wiseman Cronos, talk to him and receive Symbol of Cronos.
132. Teleport to Giran, then to Dion.
133. In the fighters' guild, find Master Cardien, talk to her and receive Mark of Life.
134. In the church, find Magister Mirien, talk to her and receive Mark of Scholar.
135. In the mages' guild, find Grand Magister Jurek, talk to him and become an Elemental Summoner. Quest complete.

Walkthrough tips

• Find - first check where the NPC stands or where the monsters live, then run there.
• Talk - choose QUEST in the dialogue and go through all the lines. If there is a choice and the description does not say which line to pick, it does not matter (or the description is incomplete).
• Class change - when talking to the master, choose INFORMATION ON CHANGE OCCUPATION instead of QUEST, then the desired profession, then CHANGE OCCUPATION.
• Receive - the item you get is listed; the items taken from you are not.
• Hunt until you collect - the drop chance for quest items is sometimes low, but usually no more than 10 monsters per item are needed (in some cases up to 30-50). If it takes far more, you will most likely have to restart the quest.
• Travel - teleports are optional; you can save money by walking. SoE is the Scroll of Escape. To know where SoE will take you, C1 needs the SoE Map patch, while in C2 you can use the /loc command. In any case, check where to look for NPCs so you don't end up searching for them in the wrong town.
