KF2 Keybinds: Knife Parry, Drop-All and Gameplay Add-ons
This is a small collection of console keybinds and add-on links meant to make Killing Floor 2 smoother. All binds use the setbind console command, so they are easy to try and easy to undo. For general setbind background see the setbind keybinding guide.
How to use
- Open the console with the tilde key (~).
- Replace
<replacekeybind>in the command with the key you want to use. - Paste the command into the console (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V) and press Enter.
Combat binds
Knife parry retract
Holding the key switches to the perk knife, auto-sprints backwards and temporarily rebinds left mouse button to the parry. Releasing the key after a successful parry switches back to the weapon you were using and gives the left mouse button its primary attack again.

Knife parry in a crowd; the bind automates the retreat and the weapon swap.
setbind <replacekeybind> "GBA_Backward | switchweapongroup 2 | setbind LeftMouseButton GBA_AltFire | GBA_Sprint | OnRelease SelectLastWeapon | OnRelease setbind LeftMouseButton GBA_Fire"
Experimental drop-everything bind
When you know you are about to die, this bind drops your weapons and dosh in quick succession so a teammate can pick them up. It supports dual-gun primaries and up to five primaries, up to eight secondaries, up to four melee weapons and up to 10k dosh. It currently works only if you are not holding the 9mm pistol, perk knife, welder or syringe. The command is a long chain of switchweapongroup and GBA_DropWeapon steps, one per slot, ending with the dosh toss; build it by repeating the pattern for each weapon group you carry. A ready-made version is on the drop all weapons and dosh keybind page.

Miscellaneous binds
Thank you
Saves opening the voice wheel just to thank a teammate.
setbind <replacekeybind> "PlayVoiceCommsDialog 9"

Throw dosh
A very simple bind that tosses 150 dosh at once by chaining three tossmoney calls.
setbind <replacekeybind> "tossmoney | tossmoney | tossmoney"

Add-ons the author recommends
- Change trader and character voice lines. Switch the voice language without changing the text language, using any language from the game's language tab in Steam properties. See the community guide on changing the voice language while keeping English text.
- Gore visual enhancement. A workshop mod that reworks all blood and gore effects (with new sounds) to make kills more satisfying; it was in beta when the guide was written.
- FPS boost for a stable 60+. Trade visual quality for frames, from simple menu options to config file edits. The author also shares an AutoHotKey script that automates the edits. Before using it back up
KFSettings.ini,KFEngine.iniandKFGame.inifromDocuments\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Config. Running it locks your video settings until you restore the originals, and changing graphics in the menu afterwards can cause problems. The workflow is: put the script in a new folder with copies of the three files, run it, rename the produced...Edited.inifiles back to the original names, copy them back over the originals and mark all three read-only. The FPS boost may not work together with the gore add-on.
A reader also pointed out that in the first Killing Floor you could throw an arbitrary amount of dosh with a console command, as an alternative to the fixed 150 above.
