KF2 Scripts and Console Commands: Auto-Sprint, Dosh Macro, IP
A short community collection of quality-of-life tweaks for Killing Floor 2: a config edit for auto-sprinting, a mouse macro for throwing dosh quickly, and the console commands people use most. The original guide also listed community RPG-style servers, but that list was tied to 2016 and is not repeated here. For more binds see KF2 setbind keybinding guide and toggle sprint console binds.
Auto-sprinting
- Open
...\Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\Config\DefaultInput.ini. - Find the line
.Bindings=(Name="LeftShift", Command="GBA_Sprint"). - Option A (recommended): replace the command so the line reads
.Bindings=(Name="LeftShift",Command="Toggle bRun"). - Option B: use
Command="GBA_Sprint | OnRelease GamepadSprint"instead.
You may also bind the Toggle bRun line to an unused key such as L rather than replacing Shift. After that you keep sprinting without holding the key.
Fast dosh throwing with a gaming mouse
For Logitech mice such as the G300, G500 and G700:
- Open the Logitech Gaming Software.
- Go to Multi Key, record a keystroke, press B (the default drop-cash key) and stop recording.
- Set the repeat option to While Pressed with a delay of 25.
The same approach can be used for rapid fire on the middle mouse button and similar tasks.
