KF2: Drop Any Amount of Dosh With One Key (setbind)
Handing a teammate the Dosh for a big weapon is a normal part of Killing Floor 2, but the default tossmoney key drops only 50 at a time. This short guide shows how to bind one key to throw any amount you like in a single press.
What you need
- Killing Floor 2 running.
- A key that is not used by the game. The guide uses N; pick another if you prefer.
Steps
- Start Killing Floor 2.
- Open the console with the tilde key (
~). On a Russian keyboard layout it is the same physical key that types the letter "e with diaeresis". - Type the command:
setbind n "tossmoney | tossmoney"
Here setbind is the command, n is the key you assign, each tossmoney is worth 50 Dosh, and the | character separates commands so they run together. Two of them give you 100 Dosh per press.
How to scale the amount
Add one more tossmoney for every extra 50 Dosh:
| Commands chained | Dosh per keypress |
|---|---|
| 2 | 100 |
| 3 | 150 |
| 4 | 200 |
| 10 | 500 |
Example for 150:
setbind n "tossmoney | tossmoney | tossmoney"
Example for 200:
setbind n "tossmoney | tossmoney | tossmoney | tossmoney"
and so on up to whatever amount you want. For a single-key drop of everything you carry, see dropping all Dosh with one key.
Notes
- Rebinding the same key again replaces the earlier command.
- The bind is stored in your input config, so it normally persists between sessions.
- Do not spam it in a public match. Teammates tend to appreciate warning before you hand over a large sum, and the trader time etiquette guide has more on that.
