Overview

The Ultra Gorefast (Player Gorefast, Alpha Gorefast) is a playable Zed in Versus Survival and an enemy of the human squad. It can spawn in any wave and all six players of the Zed team can play it at once. The author calls it a high threat.

The player can run at any time, which the author says is not supposed to happen, and can change direction many times per second without losing acceleration. Since it can spawn during the boss wave, the player controlling the Patriarch can hide behind Ultra Gorefasts.

Tactics

On the Zed team

Hold GRENADE while spawning to reduce the chance of ending up as a Husk or Crawler.
Once you spawn as the Ultra Gorefast, find the nearest player, run around them and attack repeatedly.
When running at a player, hold BASH to spin.
Press ADS without running to leap forward with a heavy attack, which has a high crit chance.
Most other attacks cannot be interrupted, so avoid them.

On the human team

Avoid fighting one alone.
Focus fire one at a time as a team: they are essentially Scrakes, and many suspect the health values of the two Zeds were swapped.
Do not hard-aim at the head, because its movement makes headshots unreliable.
If you must face several at once, consider surrendering.
